The Journalist Association of Europe (JAE) is an independent and non-profit member organization of journalists, media professionals, educators and students working from within the news industry that provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of journalists worldwide.
We are independent of party-political interests and our activities are financed entirely by membership fees.

Vision & Mission

  • The Journalist Association of Europe (JAE) organizes more than 17,000 members, of which about 7000 works within the daily newspapers, 1300 with public radio and television, 500 with private commercial audiovisual companies, 800 with magazines, 400 with political or specialized reviews, 900 as information officers or editors of small membership papers and 1 800 are freelancers etc.

    The Journalist Association of Europe (JAE) encouraging young people to consider journalism as a career, developing managers in the media industry, and promoting fair and accurate news coverage. JAE is committed to diversity in order to incorporate different viewpoints into newsrooms across the Europe.We aim to bring professionals together.
