The Journalist Association of Europe (JAE) is an independent and non-profit member organization of journalists, media professionals, educators and students working from within the news industry that provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of journalists worldwide.
We are independent of party-political interests and our activities are financed entirely by membership fees.
The Journalist Association of Europe (JAE) is an association which aims to provide a forum for media professions to share information and resources, exchange ideas, promote media awareness and ethics, and work for gender equality and justice within the media and society. Local groups linked to the JAE are currently functioning in 16 centres across the Europe.

Our primary mission is to promote and preserve the further development of a multi-media industry in Europe which is free, ethical, democratic, pluralistic and productive. Membership in JAE remains open to media workers in both the public and private sectors.
